On February 6th, a terrible earthquake with great devastation caused many houses to collapse, claiming thousands of lives in Turkey and Syria. As of the end of February 9, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey has risen to at least 17,674, while the number of people injured is approximately 73,000. In Syria, at least 3,377 people were killed. In total, the death toll from the earthquakes in these two neighboring countries has risen to more than 21,000 (Source: dantri.com.vn)
